Absolutely! We love helping customers choose the perfect lighting for their space.

Whether you're creating a warm outdoor entertaining area, wrapping mature trees, lighting a hospitality venue or planning a commercial installation, we'll happily recommend the best products for your project.

Simply send us your plans, measurements or photos.

How do I choose the right length?

The easiest way is to measure the area you'd like to light before ordering. Think about where your hanging points will be, whether you'd like the lights to run in a straight line, create a zig-zag pattern, or form a canopy over your space.

Tip: Don't forget to measure from your power outlet to the first light. If needed, simply add one of our connectable extension cables.

Which festoon bulb should I choose?

Each bulb creates a slightly different look. Whether you prefer a classic, vintage or statement style, there's a bulb to suit every outdoor space.

A60 Customers wanting a classic festoon light look. Slightly larger and rounder than the S14 with a traditional Edison-style globe shape. Available in Clear and Amber glass.
A19 Brighter entertaining areas where you want a warm ambient glow. Larger amber glass bulb with increased brightness while maintaining a classic vintage feel.
ST58 Outdoor entertaining, cafés, restaurants and hospitality spaces. Large vintage Edison-inspired teardrop bulb that creates a decorative statement. Available in Clear and Amber glass.
G45 Modern homes and contemporary outdoor spaces. Small round globe with a clean, elegant appearance that suits minimalist designs.

What's the difference between Drop Hang and Flush Mount Festoon Lights?

Drop Hang bulbs are suspended below the cable, creating a classic decorative look with added depth and character.

Flush Mount bulbs sit neatly against the cable, creating a cleaner, more architectural appearance that's perfect for modern homes and commercial spaces.

The main difference is how the bulb sits on the cable. Both styles deliver the same beautiful lighting effect. The choice comes down to the look you'd like to create.

What's the difference between 50cm and 1m bulb spacing?

It comes down to the lighting effect you're trying to create.

50cm spacing

Which fairy lights are best for my project?

Are your solar lights bright enough?

Absolutely.

Our solar lighting is designed to create a beautiful ambient glow while still providing excellent brightness for decorative outdoor lighting. Because we focus on quality components, you won't find our solar lights dim or disappointing like many lower-quality alternatives.

If you're looking for the brightest possible lighting or lighting over large areas, our mains-powered range may be a better option.

Do I need an electrician?

No.

That's one of the biggest advantages of our connectable lighting system.

Our lights are designed for easy installation without the need for an electrician. Simply connect the sets together, plug them in and enjoy.

Can I connect multiple sets together?

Yes.

Most of our mains-powered lighting ranges are fully connectable.

The maximum number of sets depends on the individual product, so please refer to the product page or contact us for advice.

Can I dim my festoon lights?

Yes.

Our mains-powered festoon lights are compatible with our optional Dimmer Unit, allowing you to adjust the brightness from a soft ambient glow through to full brightness.

Are your festoon bulbs replaceable?

Yes.

All Love Your Lights mains-powered and solar festoon light sets feature replaceable LED bulbs, making them easy and economical to maintain for years to come.

Are your lights waterproof?

Most of our outdoor lighting ranges are IP65 rated meaning they are 100% waterproof and designed for year-round outdoor use.

Please refer to each product page for the specific IP rating and installation recommendations.

Can I leave my lights outside all year?

Yes.

Many of our commercial-grade lighting ranges are specifically designed for permanent outdoor installation and built to withstand Australian conditions.

Always refer to the individual product page to confirm suitability for permanent installation.

Do you offer commercial pricing?

Yes.

Orders & Delivery

Why haven't I received my order confirmation?

Order confirmations are usually sent within a few minutes.

If you can't find yours, please check your junk or spam folder first.

Still can't find it? Contact us and we'll happily resend it.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders placed before our weekday dispatch cut-off are dispatched the same business day.

Orders placed after the cut-off, on weekends or public holidays will be dispatched the next business day.

Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive an email with your tracking details.

Where is my order?

Once your order has been dispatched you'll receive a tracking email.

If your order should have arrived by now, simply contact us and we'll happily investigate.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Because we begin picking and packing orders as quickly as possible, changes or cancellations aren't always possible.

If you need to make a change, please contact us immediately and we'll do our very best to help.

Can I collect my order?

At this stage we're an online-only business, so unfortunately we don't offer customer pickups.

Returns & Warranty

How do I return an item?

Simply email sales@loveyourlights.com.au with your order number and reason for the return.

We'll guide you through the process and provide return instructions.

Are returns free?

Return postage for Change of Mind returns is the customer's responsibility.

We recommend using a tracked courier service, as returned parcels remain your responsibility until safely received by us.

Have you received my return?

Returns are generally processed within 3 business days of arriving at our warehouse.

If you'd like an update, simply get in touch.

When will I receive my refund?

Once your return has been approved, we'll process your refund promptly.

Depending on your bank or payment provider, refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account.

What should I do if my item is faulty?

If you believe your product has developed a fault, please email us with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos or videos where possible

Our team will assess the issue and work with you to find the best solution.

Can I use Love Your Lights products with other brands?

For the best performance and to maintain warranty coverage, we recommend using genuine Love Your Lights accessories, extension cables, dimmer units and replacement bulbs.

Compatibility with third-party products cannot be guaranteed.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders placed before 2:00pm (AEST) on a business day are dispatched the same day.

Orders placed after 2:00pm, on weekends or public holidays will be dispatched on the next business day.

Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive an email with your tracking details.

How will I know when my order has been shipped?

As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, we'll send you a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number so you can follow its journey.

Can I send my order as a gift?

Absolutely! We never include pricing information inside our parcels, making it easy to send your order directly to family, friends or loved ones.
